Memories of the traditional English seaside bandstand will be evoked in modern form again this summer, as the multi award-winning Hayling’s BEST MTI Group, hold another innovative series of FREE public concerts on Eastoke Corner’s Plaza, under the Playing on the Plaza banner.

NEW for 2010
Once again this year will see a diverse range of local up and coming musical talent, along with some of our more regular performers, however you may notice while we will be putting on slightly less events this year they will be LONGER and have MORE bands playing per event, so please note the NEW EARLIER START TIME.

Slack Harry and Somethin Else will be tuning up in preparation for Sunday 25th July 2010 when they will be entertaining us with some great tunes from Classic Rock, Blues, Rock-n-Roll, 60's and Punk.

Also as a special treat we have the street dancers 2nd 2 Nun who will be providing not one but TWO performances during the afternoon so make sure you get down nice and early to seem them at the start of the afternoon

If you have a band or talent and fancy a slot on "Playing on the Plaza" then use the "Contact us" button and send us a message, please note we are a non profit organisation and will not be able to pay you (although some expenses can be met), but we can offer a great venue for you to show off your talent and take care of all the organisation, all you need to do is bring your instruments, amps and speakers.

Sadly 2010 slots are now fully booked but slots in 2011 are still available
